Small Gold Hoop Earrings
Sorry, there are no products in this collection
gorjana small gold hoop earrings, known as huggies, hug close to the earlobe for a low-profile take on the classic hoop. They're easy to wear every day and just as easy to layer with a second or third earring for a fuller ear look.
The collection includes 18K gold plated styles in a range of finishes, from simple and shimmer to chain and charm details, plus 14K solid gold options with diamond and white sapphire accents. Whatever your everyday looks like, there's a small hoop here to match it.
Gold Plated vs. Solid Gold
Most of our small hoop styles are 18K gold plated, an accessible way to try a few finishes without a big investment. For a piece designed to last, styles like the 14K gold classic huggies and 14K diamond earrings, like the diamond pavé huggies, are crafted in solid gold. Both options wear beautifully, it just depends on your priorities.
Size and Fit
Small hoops come in a range of sizes, generally from 8mm up to 15mm depending on the style. A smaller size sits closer to the lobe for a subtle, everyday hoop earrings look, while a slightly larger huggie gives you a bit more presence without moving into statement territory.
Finish and Detail
Beyond the plain gold huggie, you'll find shimmer textures, chain link detailing, and initial charms in the alphabet single huggie, one of our charm hoops styles. The Rose Marble huggies bring in mother of pearl and malachite marble inlays for something with a bit more texture. Mixing finishes across two ears, or wearing a plain hoop with a shimmer hoop, is a simple way to give your layout a custom, curated edge.
Adding Sparkle
For more shine, the pave hoop earrings and white sapphire chain huggies bring a bit of fine jewelry detail into a small hoop shape. They pair naturally with plainer gold hoops in a second or third piercing.
Silver and Mixed Metal Options
Several huggie styles are also offered in silver plated or rhodium plated finishes, so you can match your hoops to the rest of your ear stack if you tend to wear cooler tones. Pairing a gold huggie with a silver one is also an easy way to build a mismatch earrings look.
Gifting Small Gold Hoops
A pair of small gold hoops is one of the easiest gifts to get right since they work with almost any style. Pick a plain gold pair for everyday wear or a shimmer or diamond style for something a little more special, both make a thoughtful gift for a birthday or milestone.
What are gorjana small gold hoop earrings called?
gorjana calls this style a huggie, a small hoop that hugs close to the earlobe rather than hanging away from the ear like a traditional hoop.
Are small gold hoop earrings gold plated or solid gold?
The collection includes both. Most styles are 18K gold plated, while a select group, like the classic and diamond pavé huggies, are crafted in 14K solid gold.
What sizes do small gold hoops come in?
Sizes typically range from around 8mm to 15mm depending on the style, so you can choose a subtle, close-to-the-lobe fit or a slightly larger huggie.
Can I mix and match different huggie styles?
Yes, mixing finishes and sizes across a second or third piercing is one of the easiest ways to build a personal ear look with small hoops.
Do small gold hoops come in silver too?
Several huggie styles are also available in silver plated or rhodium plated finishes for anyone who prefers cooler tones.
